Hour 1 - A tale of two halves

A very unexpectedly exciting start at the front of the field, to say the least, summed up by this tweet by photographer James Moy

And that pretty much the reaction of us here.Either Toyota were seriously sandbagging or they're enjoying the damper conditions. Unfortunately the battle was neutralised by a pretty nasty looking incident invloving the #95 Aston Martin. Twitter tells us he is concious but it looked like a massive impact so hopefully he's ok. Thats triggered a frankly rediculiously long Safety Car period that still hasnt ended so theres not a lot to report or comment on.Just weaving. So much weaving.
