Good question.
Myself, Pete and Rich are just three garden-variety petrol-heads from Northern Ireland who are meeting up to watch the FIA WEC 24Hr Le Mans endurance race. The whole thing.
This blog will serve as a tool to hold our interest, keep at least one of us awake, and as a vent for our opinions and views, of which there will many no doubt.
We will make our race predictions just before lights out at Circuit De La Sarthe but in the interest of full disclosure we have included our favourite cars in each class which will no doubt colour our opinions over the 24 hours.
In the small chance that anyone actually reads this over the 24 hours, perhaps you are like us. The petrol head standing vigil, the lone warrior battling against the night, up to all unsociable hours watching cars go in circles. If so, please feel free to comment and discuss/argue the finer points of the Audi Quattro hybrid system or the questionable charm of the Oak Racing art car livery. (Eugh)
